How We Chose
Every pick below was filtered by the specs that matter for Bissell buyers: cleaning path, tank size, cord length, the toolset, and pet or allergy features. We cross-checked each product against its owner reviews and ratings on Amazon, then ran a final data check in October 2026. No hands-on testing claims, just the numbers the listings show.
1. Bissell CleanView Swivel Pet: Best for Pet Households
Pros
- Swivel steering reaches under furniture easily
- Triple Action Brush Roll lifts embedded pet hair
- Scatter-free on hard floors
- HEPA filter captures allergens
- Active Extension Wand for above-floor cleaning
Cons
- Corded design limits reach from outlet
- Small 1 liter tank empties often
The CleanView Swivel Pet 3836 sits at the top because it does the most useful job for the most people: vacuuming pet hair off carpet and hard floors without a learning curve. The swivel head turns on a dime around chair legs and the triple action brush roll pulls embedded fur out of carpet pile. Reviews report the scatter-free design keeps kibble and dry debris from flying across hard floors.
What stands out on the spec sheet is the 13 inch cleaning path paired with a 3.3 pound body. That weight is unusually light for an upright, and owners mention hauling it upstairs without trouble. The HEPA filter is the quiet win for anyone with allergy symptoms, since the sealed system keeps fine dust from blowing back into the room.
Compared with the Little Green Multi-Purpose 1400B at #2, this is a vacuum and not a carpet shampooer. Buy the CleanView Swivel Pet if you want one machine for daily pet hair, and grab the Little Green for the occasional stain. Skip this pick if you only have a studio and want the cheaper CleanView Compact 3508 at #3 instead.
2. Bissell Little Green Multi-Purpose: Best for Portable Spot Cleaning
Pros
- 48oz tank means fewer refills mid-job
- Trusted by 7 million households
- Spray scrub and suction in one motion
- Removes 100 plus common stains
- Supports BISSELL Pet Foundation
Cons
- Nearly 10 pounds can tire the arm
- Corded limits how far you roam
Trusted by roughly 7 million households and rated by 94,615 owners, the Little Green Multi-Purpose 1400B is the portable spot cleaner most people reach for when a stain hits the carpet or couch. Spray, scrub and suction happen in a single motion, and the included trial-size formula gets you started on the first mess.
The standout spec is the 48 ounce clean water tank, almost three times the capacity of the Little Green Mini at #7. Owners mention completing a full car interior or a large area rug without stopping to refill. The included HydroRinse self-cleaning tool flushes the hose after each use, which several reviews call out as a real time saver.
Skip the Little Green if you mostly need a daily vacuum for dry pet hair, since the CleanView Swivel Pet at #1 covers that job without wet work. The Little Green is the right tool for wet stains, area rugs and car interiors. The corded design and 9.7 pound weight mean you bring the unit to the stain, so a nearby outlet helps.
3. Bissell CleanView Compact 3508: Best for Apartments and Small Spaces
Pros
- Under 8 pounds is easy to carry upstairs
- Scatter-free on hard floors
- Removable extension wand included
- Easy empty dirt container
- Great value for the price
Cons
- No height adjustment for carpet piles
- Manual cord winding
- Less suction than full-size models
Under 1000 square feet, the CleanView Compact 3508 makes a lot of sense: it is the lowest priced upright in this list, weighs under 8 pounds, and still earns 4.4 stars across 19,844 owners. It is built for the apartment dweller who vacuums twice a week, not the household running a cleaning business.
The 8 pound weight and 11 by 10 inch footprint mean it tucks into a hall closet and lifts one-handed. Reviews highlight the scatter-free pickup on hard floors and the removable extension wand for shelves and baseboards. The washable disc filter is a quiet money saver, since replacements are not on the shopping list.
Skip the CleanView Compact 3508 if your home is wall-to-wall carpet with a deep pile, since several reviews note the single height setting struggles on plush. The CleanView Swivel Pet at #1 handles that job better. The CleanView Compact Turbo at #9 adds about 3 pounds but throws in a quick release extension wand for above-floor work.
4. Bissell Big Green Professional: Best for Whole-Home Deep Cleaning
Pros
- 1.75 gallon tank cuts refill stops
- Rotating DirtLifter brushes on forward and back pass
- 9 inch reach hose included
- Includes BISSELL PRO MAX Formula
- 5 year limited warranty
Cons
- 42 pounds is a workout to move
- Dirty water tank can leak if tipped
- Bulky size needs storage space
What rental machines aspire to be, the Big Green Professional carries a 4.7 rating and the deepest cleaning action in the Bissell lineup. Owners call it the only home unit that has ever made their carpet look new again, and the 5 year limited warranty backstops the weight.
The standout number is the 1.75 gallon tank, which is the largest in this list and means a full room of carpet without a refill stop. The rotating DirtLifter power brushes scrub on both forward and backward passes, halving the time to cover a room. Several reviews mention the 5 year limited warranty as the reason they trust the weight.
Good to know: the 42 pound weight is a real consideration, and reviewers recommend a storage spot on the ground floor. Compared with the ProHeat 2X Revolution at #5, the Big Green cleans deeper but takes longer to dry. Buy the ProHeat if you want the express 30 minute dry mode, and the Big Green if cleaning power is the only thing that matters.
5. Bissell ProHeat 2X Revolution: Best for Tough Pet Stains
Pros
- CleanShot Pretreater with OXY for pet stains
- Dual DirtLifter PowerBrushes for 2X scrubbing
- Express Clean mode dries in 30 minutes
- FreshStart odor protection on brushes
- 2 in 1 pet upholstery tool included
Cons
- Express mode not deep enough for set-in stains
- Short power cord limits reach
- No dedicated rinse cycle
Tough pet stains earn the ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet Pro Plus 3588F its badge, because the CleanShot Pretreater hits stains with OXY before the brushes ever touch the carpet. Owners with multiple cats and a houseful of foster pets call it the only carpet cleaner that handles fresh accidents and old stains in the same session.
What stands out is the dual DirtLifter PowerBrush system, which scrubs twice per pass compared with single-brush machines. The Express Clean mode finishes a room in roughly 30 minutes of dry time, which several reviews call out as a sanity saver. The 3.79 liter tank sits in the middle of this list, larger than the TurboClean Pet XL at #6 but smaller than the Big Green Professional at #4.
Compared with the TurboClean Pet XL at #6, the ProHeat 2X costs more but adds the express dry mode and the OXY pretreater. If you mostly have one or two pets and infrequent accidents, the TurboClean Pet XL is the better value. Pick the ProHeat 2X if a deep-clean option and a quick-dry option on the same machine are what you need.
6. Bissell TurboClean Pet XL: Best for High-Traffic Rooms
Pros
- 10 inch clean path covers more ground per pass
- 1 gallon clean tank means fewer refills
- 4 Row DeepReach PowerBrush
- Includes PRO MAX Clean with StainProtect
- 3 inch Tough Stain Tool included
Cons
- 23.3 pounds can be heavy on stairs
- Nozzle can clog with pet hair
- Attachments can pop off during use
Family room carpet that takes the most abuse needs the TurboClean Pet XL 3746. The 10 inch clean path is wider than the ProHeat 2X at #5, so you cover a large room in fewer passes. The 1 gallon clean tank keeps you moving without constant refill stops.
The 4 Row DeepReach PowerBrush pulls dirt out of carpet pile that upright vacuums leave behind, and the included PRO MAX Clean formula with StainProtect leaves a barrier on the carpet. Reviews mention the 3 inch Tough Stain Tool for stairs and upholstery, though several note the attachments can pop off if not clicked in firmly.
The TurboClean Pet XL is a full-size upright that washes entire rooms, while the Little Green Multi-Purpose at #2 is a portable that handles one stain at a time. Pick the TurboClean for wall to wall carpet that needs regular washing. Pick the Little Green if spot treatment on furniture and rugs is the typical job. At 23.3 pounds, the TurboClean is too heavy for daily carry upstairs.
7. Bissell Little Green Mini: Best for On-the-Go Spot Cleaning
Pros
- Compact 7 pound build
- 4 inch Tough Stain Tool with removable lens
- HydroRinse self-cleaning tool included
- Removes embedded dirt and allergens
- Supports BISSELL Pet Foundation
Cons
- 16oz tank needs frequent refills
- Carpet may stay damp after cleaning
When coffee hits the carpet on the way to the couch, the Little Green Mini 4075 is what you grab. At 7 pounds with a 16 ounce tank, it stores in a kitchen cabinet and reaches the stain before it sets. Owners with new puppies and elderly pets reach for it daily.
The HydroRinse self-cleaning tool flushes the hose and brush after use, which reviews describe as the difference between a clean machine and a smelly one. The 4 inch Tough Stain Tool with a removable lens reaches the middle of upholstery cushions. The 16 ounce tank is the trade-off for the compact size.
The full-size Little Green Multi-Purpose at #2 holds three times the water of the Mini and costs a bit more, but it also weighs a few pounds extra and takes up more shelf space. Pick the Mini for daily small spots and quick accidents. Pick the full-size Little Green if you wash area rugs, car interiors or larger pieces of furniture on a regular basis.
8. Bissell MultiClean Allergen Lift-Off: Best for Allergy Households
Pros
- HEPA sealed allergen system
- LED headlights reveal hidden dust
- Tangle-free brush roll
- 2 in 1 lift-off pod for above-floor cleaning
- 7 foot hose for stairs
Cons
- Hair can still wrap around the brush axle
- Cord does not retract
- Lift-off pod can feel heavy in the hand
Allergies drive the cleaning schedule at some households, and the MultiClean Allergen Lift-Off 2998 is built for that job. The HEPA sealed system traps fine particles inside the machine instead of blowing them out the exhaust, and the LED headlights on the floor head make hidden dust visible.
The lift-off pod detaches from the main body for above-floor cleaning on stairs and upholstery, which is the real party trick of this model. The 7 foot hose reaches from a top stair down to the landing without moving the base unit. The tangle-free brush roll is built for long hair, though several reviews note some hair still wraps around the axle ends.
Pick the MultiClean Allergen Lift-Off if sealed HEPA filtration and a detachable pod for stairs are the priority. The CleanView Swivel Pet at #1 weighs about a quarter as much and covers daily pet hair on floors, but it lacks the sealed allergen system. If allergy control matters more than lightweight daily use, the MultiClean earns the spot.
9. Bissell CleanView Compact Turbo: Best for Lightweight Storage
Pros
- Under 11 pounds and easy to store
- Quick release extension wand
- Scatter-free on hard floors
- Easy empty bagless dirt tank
- Full-size power in a compact body
Cons
- Brushroll cannot be turned off when using wand
- Cord does not retract
- Canister fills quickly
Dorm floors and studio corners are where the CleanView Compact Turbo 3437F fits, with a 10.9 pound body that leans against a wall and a quick release extension wand that pops out for shelves. The 700 watt motor delivers upright-class suction in a frame that fits a closet.
The standout feature is the quick release extension wand, which is faster than the screw-on wands on older Bissell uprights. Owners with small apartments mention the scatter-free pickup on hard floors and the easy-empty tank. The foam filter rinses clean under a faucet, so replacement filters are not on the shopping list.
Compared with the CleanView Compact 3508 at #3, this model weighs 3 pounds more but includes the quick release wand. Pick the 3437F if the extension wand matters to you. The CleanView Swivel Pet at #1 sits at 3.3 pounds, lighter than any other upright in the list. Skip both compact uprights if you have deep-pile carpet, since brush power trails full-size models.
10. Hoover PowerScrub Deluxe: Best Alternative for Whole-Room Carpet Washing
Pros
- Five counter-rotating SpinScrub brushes
- HeatForce speeds up drying
- Dual tank separates clean and dirty water
- 8 foot hose included
- Upholstery and pet tools included
Cons
- 18.5 pounds is heavy to move
- Brush turbine can rust with water use
- Shorter power cord than expected
Some households want a full-size carpet washer with strong brushes and do not need a Bissell badge, which is where the Hoover PowerScrub Deluxe FH50150NC fits at #10. The five SpinScrub counter-rotating brushes dig into carpet pile, and the HeatForce technology pushes warm air into the carpet to cut dry time.
The dual tank setup keeps clean and dirty water separate, which is the key to clean carpet and not just wet carpet. The 8 foot hose reaches stairs and furniture without moving the base unit, and the included pet tool handles upholstery. The 18.5 pound weight is lighter than the ProHeat 2X at #5 and the Big Green Professional at #4, but heavier than any upright in the list.
Good to know: some reviews mention the brush turbine showing surface rust after months of regular use, so drying the brushes after each session matters. The PowerScrub offers a wider brush array and faster drying than the TurboClean Pet XL at #6, but it lacks the StainProtect formula. Pick this model if brush count matters more than Bissell-specific formula compatibility.
How to Choose a Bissell During Prime Big Deal Days
Match the machine to the mess you actually have
Upright vacuums like the CleanView Swivel Pet at #1 and the CleanView Compact 3508 at #3 cover daily pet hair and dust on floors. Portable spot cleaners like the Little Green Multi-Purpose at #2 and the Little Green Mini at #7 handle the occasional stain on carpet, upholstery or car interiors. Full-size carpet cleaners like the ProHeat 2X Revolution at #5 and the Big Green Professional at #4 wash entire rooms. Pick the category that matches how often you deal with wet messes.
Tank size sets how often you refill
Portable cleaners hold 16 to 48 ounces, which is fine for spot work. Full-size carpet cleaners hold 1 to 1.75 gallons, which means a full room of carpet without a refill stop. The Hoover PowerScrub Deluxe at #10 uses a 3.8 liter clean tank with a separate dirty tank. The bigger the tank, the heavier the machine, so think about who carries it.
Filter type matters for allergies and dust
HEPA sealed systems, like the one on the MultiClean Allergen Lift-Off at #8, trap fine particles that standard foam filters let pass. The CleanView Swivel Pet at #1 also includes a HEPA filter in a lighter upright body. If anyone in the home has allergies or asthma, the HEPA filter is worth prioritizing over extra attachments.
Weight and storage affect daily use
Compact uprights under 11 pounds (the CleanView Compact 3508 at #3 and the CleanView Compact Turbo at #9) fit a hall closet. Full-size carpet cleaners above 20 pounds need a ground-floor storage spot. The Big Green Professional at #4 is 42 pounds and several reviews mention dedicating laundry room floor space for it.
How to shop Bissell deals during the sale
Check the model number on the listing, not just the product name, since Bissell revises model numbers every couple of years and an older number can mean an older design. Watch for renewed or open-box offers, which Amazon marks clearly on the listing page, and compare those to new units before adding to cart. The sale runs October 6-7, 2026, and most offers need a Prime membership (a free trial counts), so confirm your membership is active before the event starts.
- Match the category to the mess: upright for daily, portable for spots, full-size for rooms
- Tank size drives refill frequency, but also weight
- HEPA filters matter for allergy households
- Confirm the model number is current, not a discontinued design
- Check whether the listing is new, renewed or open-box
- Make sure your Prime membership is active before the event opens
Frequently Asked Questions
When do the Amazon Prime Big Deal Days run in 2026?
Amazon Prime Big Deal Days runs October 6-7, 2026, and Amazon has confirmed the dates. The sale starts at midnight Pacific on October 6 and runs through October 7, with new offers appearing throughout the event. Most offers need a Prime membership, though a free trial counts.
Do I need a Prime membership to buy Bissell deals during Prime Big Deal Days?
Yes, almost every Bissell deal during the sale needs an active Prime membership. If you do not have one, a free 30 day trial qualifies, and Amazon lets you sign up and shop in the same session. Some non-Prime lightning offers may appear, but the headline Bissell discounts are gated behind Prime.
Which Bissell models usually get the deepest discounts during Prime Big Deal Days?
Bestselling uprights like the CleanView Swivel Pet and the CleanView Compact 3508 are popular picks for the sale, alongside the Little Green Multi-Purpose portable cleaner. Premium machines like the Big Green Professional see smaller percentage drops but the dollar amount can be meaningful. Specific dollar amounts change every event, so check the current listing before adding to cart.
Are renewed or refurbished Bissell machines a good buy during the sale?
Renewed or refurbished Bissell machines can be a good buy if the listing is fulfilled by Amazon and clearly marked with the renewal condition. Inspect the return window before purchase and check whether accessories and formula samples are included. For a first Bissell, a new unit is usually the safer pick.
Should I buy a Bissell carpet cleaner or a vacuum during the sale?
Buy a vacuum if you clean daily pet hair and dust on floors. Buy a carpet cleaner if you have wall to wall carpet, kids or pets that create wet stains. Many households eventually want both, so a portable spot cleaner plus an upright is a common starting pair. The CleanView Swivel Pet and the Little Green Multi-Purpose cover both jobs.
How do I avoid buying an old model number during the Bissell deals?
Read the model number on the listing, not just the product name, since Bissell revises numbers every couple of years. Compare the model number to the current listing on the Bissell website, and check the product photos and included accessories to confirm the design matches the current generation. Reviews from the past few months are a good signal that the unit is the current model.
Final Verdict: Best Amazon Prime Big Deal Days Bissell Deals
Buy the Bissell CleanView Swivel Pet 3836 if you want one upright to handle daily pet hair, since the swivel head and HEPA filter cover most households well. Buy the Little Green Multi-Purpose 1400B as the budget-friendly alternative for spot cleaning on carpet, upholstery and car interiors. The Big Green Professional is the deep-clean pick for serious carpet work, while the ProHeat 2X Revolution adds a quick-dry option for pet messes. The CleanView Compact 3508 fits apartments and small spaces for the lowest price in this list. Check the current price on each card and add your pick to cart before the sale window closes on October 7, 2026.
